Today comedian Damon Williams tweeted me the actual photo of Bernie's own street and I must admit I got a little emotional. I didn't attend his funeral because I don't go to funerals so I guess seeing this finally made his passing real to me. I learned so much from him and worked with him since I was 22 years old. I accomplished one of my greatest achievements with him. He was always kind and straight ti the point. He worked in Hollywood but there was no Hollywood bullshit in him. That's why he always returned to Chi-town whenever possible.
I've worked with them all and believe me Bernie was one of a kind. I miss you.
